King crimson originated in London England in 1968. with guitarist Robert Fripp (really the only consistent member) and drummer michael giles. in 1969 they released their critically acclaimed debut "In the court of the crimson king" an album of five song and relatively short for the time period being under 50 minuntes long. king crimson expanded the prog rock scene exponentially. and together with pink floyd and later on rush they helped to shape the music world as we know it today. ... read more
