It feels out of touch and tries to paint this hyper-successful artist as a gritty working showman who gets the end of the stick constantly. I get a feeling that the intended audience for this doesn't know how to analyze anything. She just straight up tells us what happening, not giving the listener any sort of freedom to think for themselves. It just feels inauthentic.
Dude, are you real?
I......think i am?

RENE DESCARTES?
Thundercat made a campfire with a pretty big flame and Remi grabbed enough logs to make the flame 10 feet tall. This is such a banger, especially with what is going on in the bass (obviously) and the drums.
To quote Dwanye "The Rock" Johnson: "And I've got to say, In all Honesty, Its the biggest piece of dog shit I've ever heard"
I kept imagining this in a movie where a protagonist is walking through a loud club. It's pretty good!
I like the groove this is putting down, but it doesn't have enough gumption behind it.
This collab was long waiting. I feel like I'm flying toward one of those pies that you cook to make you float.
This does not seem that strong of a single. It does seem like it makes for a good segue in an album.
