Art Angels was an incredibly fun change of direction for Grimes, without having to compromise the things that make her stand out as an artist. I was looking forward to this after hearing we appreciate power, but that single seems to have just been an afterthought. Was looking forward to this after listening to some of the great singles like Polly. This album definitely does not disappoint if you come into it with a similar mindset. Moses shows off an incredible expansive vocal range that's rarely heard in modern soul, with production that's able to match his energy whether it be a raspy whisper or a shattering falsetto. Not a lot to take from this, very run of the mill RnB / Soul. Well enough sung, well enough produced, but nothing biting enough to draw you in for a second listen.
