Overhated.

After listening to this album a few times, I can confidently say that there are no misses on this album and that a majority of the songs are quite catchy. Regarding the Kendrick features, while they are clearly not great, they aren't bad either and yall need to stop hating on Good Flirts which in my personal opinion had the better Kendrick feature over House Money.

Best: The Birds Don't Sing (100)

When I first listened to this as a casual Kendrick fan I had this album on repeat all the time. However, after relistening to his older albums I realised that this is probably his worst album yet, excluding Section 80. Now I appreciate him having fun on this album on a lot of tracks and that he was proably going for a lot of hits for his upcoming superbowl performance. Possibly a bit of a hot take, but I think this album is easily better than DAMN. In my personal opinion, whilst DAMN. may have suffered from being a slight bit commercial, this album is the complete opposite of that and I love it. While it definitely has a few weak tracks like DAMN, I find the overall quality and story of the album to be much better executed. I also stand by We Cry Together being a top 5 track on this album

Definitely a slight downturn in quality after TPAB, but how was he even meant to top that again lets be real. The quality of songs in this album are definitely a bit hit and miss but I wouldn't say he had any complete misses.

Name a better album that has come out since this album released, I guarantee u can't. This album is the absolute peak of conscious hip-hop and I honestly don't even know how u could really top it.

One of the best hip-hop albums of all time. Always liked how u could understand the story of the album much easier than TPAB making it much more digestable. Also just filled with bangers.

Very solid debut album that would act as the stepping stones for his next album. Can definitely see a lot of early potential with tracks like A.D.H.D, Rigamortus and HiiiPower.

Pile Of Shit 2.

Hopefully hit recent actions mean he doesn't release more shit like this. While I might occasionally play a few songs off this, most of this album is shit, plus he decided to add some antisemetic bars in so thats a nice touch.

The point where he just decided to give up on trying to make good music.

I don't think Kanye was in the right place to make a good album when this released as this is the first sign of the storm yet to come.

Really underrated Kanye album, pretty much all the songs are great apart from Im In It and Send It Up. Even more impressive when u find out he sung over all the tracks in only 3 days.

After MBDTF and being a collab album with Jay-Z I can't lie this is a bit dissapointing, with the track list being really hit or miss. The first 4 tracks are great then after that it mostly goes downhill apart from New Day and Murder to Excellence.

My 2nd Favourite Kanye Album, was my fav for a while but College Dropout is just something different.

On first listen I kinda hated this album but its grown on me quite a bit since then, still nothing compared to his previous albums before this tho.

Would have been a perfect album without Barry Bonds and Drunk and Hot Girls.

Very solid follow-up album to College Dropout, personally I prefer College Dropout though so Ill give this a slightly lower score.
