Seriously, why is now everyone acting as if Dracula was a banger?
Like, it's okay to say it was dogshit as well as the rest of the album.
There are of course really goods songs in the album, like the title track "DtMF", but... looking back at it, I strongly feel it's overrated.
I was not disappointed at all, given that it was my first time listening to a whole Vince Staples record.
The intro to "Old Scratch Blues" sounds just as heavenly as the rest of the album.
I regret writing this now, because I'm out of my BossMan Dlow phase: it started when this album came out and slowly died when Dlow published some uninteresting (imo) songs in 2025. The tracks in this album actually make you feel like a successful person, even if (like me) you're broke af 😂; Dlow's rapping is sometimes funny, with brief puns here and there, and other times vigorous, but the songs overall don't have much to offer.

Rag'n'Bone man was, in my opinion, the perfect choice for the chorus: his powerful voice compliments well the melancholic and thoughtful instrumental.
Danger Mouse and Black Thought have put out another masterpiece which hints at a sequel to the acclaimed "Cheat Codes", whose track "Aquamarine" blew my mind, as I was still new to hip-hop at the time.
Perfection in every sense.
