i was really looking forward to this release and it didn't disappoint! i like the nighttime, bedroom pop vibes that were almost kind of club-adjacent at times. i can see myself taking a drive to the beach at night and streaming this. "submarine" is one of the many great releases of 2024 and we're barely getting to the halfway point of the year.

I like how it has that twang that has been present in her music since her debut. However, the songs are a bit too repetitive to the point that they feel too long. I like the new kind of twist she took with some of the tracks, like "Lego Ring." But the album overall is too short, not enough tracks 💔
