This Saga opens up with an autotune ballad that is surprisingly very enjoyable. This Saga again shows the duo experimenting with new sounds. We see a new concept for the duo on the first track which is a hook. On "Purple Ranger" we see a slightly new Oddy flow. The Project Pat and Pimp C sample fits the song very well and supports the new sounds on this song. Wavy Jone$ did an amazing job at replicating the sound for this song. He delivered a verse that fit the track so well that the ... read more
The production on this Saga instantly grabs your ear. The samples are well executed and much more pleasing to listen to. $lick's rhyme schemes are more complex than we've heard before. On the first song "Fuck A Hoe" $crim gives us a sneak peak of his impressive abilities that have yet to shine. Black Smurf delivers a good verse and adds variety to the track. "Deep Web" gives us a strange look into a sexual relationship with a catchy Juicy J sample. This song is oddly ... read more
This project is very well put together with guest production by Nedarb on "Lo-Fi". This Saga is very slowed down compared to the previous and future Sagas. It was a nice change of pace and gave listeners something much different to chew on. Prince Tulip was heavily inspired by Yung Lean and it gives off amazing vibes. This song is easily the most popular track on this Saga. The pitched down vocals give the track a chopped and screwed feeling. The production on "Peso" was ... read more
Initially the listener will be able to tell that Oddy and $lick are experimenting with different vocal effects and flows (mostly seen within $lick). Oddy goes back to the flows he had initially used on Pluto. This fits strangely with $licks experimental techniques. The song titled "Heavily Medicated" is very unique and will turn many listeners away, however this song has much more depth than the previous songs on the Saga. $lick informs the listener that he is not interested in the ... read more
This project sums up the $uicideboy$ very well and even includes a more melodic song at the end. Oddy shines on this project when it comes to the rapping aspect of it all. $lick does a very good job with his melody and execution on Ocean Side $uicide.
Beats are fairly simple but the duo flows well and still are able to keep their unique sound. The duo enlisted Bones and TrippyThaKid on this Saga and they deliver. This tape was a good preview to what was yet to come. Good effort from both $lick and Oddy. Overall a generous enjoyment ranking of 50%.
This Saga comes after many notable releases which include the $outh $ide $uicide EP with Pouya, the first and second GREYGODS EP's with Ramirez, DIRTYNASTY$UICIDE and DIRTIERNASTIER$UICIDE with Germ, and more. This is one of their most impressive Sagas with the in your face vocals and banging beats that will beg you to turn the volume up. "Temple Spray" instantly introduces you to the new $uicideboy$. $crim's vocals will leave you shocked while Ruby's intense and speedy flow will ... read more
$crim comes into this Saga with an amazing cadence while Ruby continues to develop and improve his flows. "Audubon" is an amazing intro while "2nd Hand" is a cult classic.
"2nd Hand" refuses to fit in and this may be why the appeal is so massive. "Planting The Roots..." is one of the most overlooked $uicideboy$ songs ever in my opinion. The duo reminisce on the days before Katrina destroyed their beloved New Orleans. This seemed to be a turning point in ... read more
The duos chemistry is what makes this Saga work so well. $crim and Ruby have such different flows which makes the Saga captivating and will never fail to lose your attention. "Goodbye" will leave you stunned instantly as $crim delivers another haunting verse. Ruby expresses how nothing has gotten better but has instead gotten worse. The final track on this Saga is very interesting as Ruby delivers another unheard flow. The beat switch is other worldly and fits $crim's cadence so well. ... read more
The first track on this Saga was fairly mediocre and could leave one with low hopes but as soon as you hear the drop for "Smoked out, Scoped Out" you will recognize that this Saga is very unique with the struggling themes of fitting in and the constant feeling of drugs calling the duos names. "Gloom" settles in with an eerie instrumental but quickly changes the tone once Ruby's vocals kick in. The hand-off in this song is very impressive and their chemistry shines on this ... read more
One of the most beautiful Sagas in my opinion. This Saga is very depressing and is certainly not for everyone but you cannot deny its craft. Its hard to touch on each track individually as they all look back on Ruby's and $crim's lives and the struggles they've gone through and they continue to go through. Ruby's verse on "Hard To Tell" is beautifully depressing as it is astonishing. "New Chains, Same Shackles" is one of the most depressing $uicideboy$ songs and is certain ... read more
"Styrofoam" is an amazing intro to this Saga with its unique production. With this installment you can see how much the duo has grown over the years. "Withdrawals/Withdrawals" has a very funky beat that is used to express the duos drug complications in a very subtle way. "Pictures" was a huge mystery to me as I did not know how well Maxo Kream would fit in on the track. $crim's spooky vocals were very unique and led me to enjoy the song much more then I should ... read more
This Saga opens up with the song "FUCK" that is sure to get stuck in your head with its catchy hook. This Saga was a nice relief after Part XIII. It delivered the flows and production that many enjoy while sounding very unique to its Saga. "Pump Fake" again samples Ruby himself for the hook. $crim's haunting vocals on this track will have the listener coming back over and over. "Venom" is a great song and Shakewell fit great. $crim definitely carries this Saga and ... read more
What really needs to be said of this Saga? This Saga summarizes the amazing duo in just three songs. "For The Last Time" has one of the most catchy samples and instrumentals of all time. This track gives the fans who love their chill music an amazing send off to the Kill Yourself Series. "I Hung Myself For A Persona" is a staple in time with mentioning Lil Peep and this song is heart warming live. Ruby's airy/experimental vocals are extremely unique and cannot be easily ... read more
This mixtape was very good for a commercial debut. The project starts off strong with the single "Yg's" which is very catchy and will have you coming back. The LPD Poody feature on "Anonymous" was great and Plies didn't ruin "Noun" as I expected. "Glock Season" and "Where the Love" were very melodic but did not stand out to me, feature wise, at least. Some tracks on the tape I think could be replaced with others. I would of loved to see ... read more
