“True Blue” by Casiopea is, to me, a good album. The musicians, both melodic and rhythmic, are insane, and their solos are really impressive. Their riffs are catchy and driving, especially on Sky So High. On the other hand, I’m really not a fan of keeping such a retro sound — I can’t get into the synthetic trumpets and synths. “Live, Love, Laugh” by Earl Sweatshirt honestly felt pretty underwhelming to me. The samples sound muddy and repetitive, and the mixing often feels off, which makes it hard to enjoy Earl’s vocals.
