Heard them live, pretty good but the singer sounds quite different and much weaker live than in the studio. but thats okay!
very consistent and solid house project that follows a nice summer theme all the way through, great for car rides. casual gaming or just something to throw on in the background. i will be revisiting this album again
Not as strong as their other projects. But partner in crime is incredible so it can’t be that bad
A solid 11 song album filled with good vibe music. first half of the album is very good but drops slightly in quality over the last few songs, pacing was a bit all over the pace but definitely some good songs to find in the album. Cant wait to see them live in a few weeks
EDIT: The live show was awesome.
This is an awesome album. The production is stellar, you just get a high listening to this album, but I just couldn’t rate it 100, with two songs that don’t really sound like they should be on the album just won’t let me justify a perfect rating. But damn, this album is dope
Fav songs: every song except Barry bonds & drunk and hot girls
A foundational solid indie rock album that won’t leave you disappointed
Fav song: still have room
Least fav song: dancing on the other hand
i don’t really have that much else to say other than that this shit is fire
I’ve been a listener of AZ for a while, one of the first artists that got me into boom bap/rap. But this is the first time I’ve listened to a full album from him, and it’s absolutely not a disappointment.
Fav songs: gimme yours, ho happy Jackie, rather unique, sugar hill
Least fav songs: uncut raw, I feel for you
happy 200th Rating!
a foundationally solid indie rock album with consistent sound all the way through, no complaints from me. i very much do enjoy Flipturns music and i hope to see them live soon.
fav song: burnout days, sunlight
least fav song: window?
Now this, is how you do an indie rock album.
Fav song: space cowboy
Least fav song: goddamn
I almost wanted to stop listening to the album after the first song, I decided to give it a shot and continued to listen through, it sounds like if Camila cabello and Selena Gomez had a baby.
Fav song: Gabriela
Least fav: Gnarly
Just a pretty generic album that follows a similar flow all the way through, but pretty forgettable or really worth revisiting.
Fav song: ain’t giving up
Least fav song: HIT EM
A very sound and consistent album. The guitar sounds so nice on the ears and ears the lead singer sounds good. A few tracks are forgettable as there’s lack of variety but definitely an album to listen too
[EDIT] Have faith is genuinely a perfect song I cannot get it out of my head
Fav songs, have faith, live well
Least fav songs, slaving on
