This album was tailor-made for me. I simply adore her writing style. There are pockets of the record that feel slightly redundant, both lyrically and melodically, a weak point that it shares in common with Audrey's collaborator Gracie Abrams' most recent venture, "The Secret of Us." This is my next pop girl I've got my eye on. I love her songwriting style so much. This track makes me grin like an idiot, and it's pure fun!
I am someone who is more often drawn to confessional and diaristic lyrics; however, I thoroughly enjoyed most of this album, and I'm excited for what's to come. Of the singles off this record, the three that stuck out to me were 'Fame is a Gun,' 'High Fashion,' and 'Headphones On.'
