Conan Gray - Wishbone

As someone who has been following Conan's musical career from its very beginnings (looking at you, YouTube single days), this record felt very much like a return to form in the best way. In my opinion, from the start, Conan's most successful tracks have always shared the commonality of diaristic lyrics and earworm indie pop hooks. This album was tailor-made for me. I simply adore her writing style. This is my next pop girl I've got my eye on. I love her songwriting style so much. This track makes me grin like an idiot, and it's pure fun!

I am someone who is more often drawn to confessional and diaristic lyrics; however, I thoroughly enjoyed most of this album, and I'm excited for what's to come. Of the singles off this record, the three that stuck out to me were 'Fame is a Gun,' 'High Fashion,' and 'Headphones On.'

My ranking of the tracks would probably be:
1) Fame is a Gun
2) Headphones On
3) New York
4) High Fashion
5) Money is Everything
6) Diet Pepsi
7) Times Like These
8) In The ... read more
