I’ve always felt the project had pretty much perfect production but wasn’t able to always click with his vocals and I like them more now but sometimes I just can’t catch his flow and I feel it clashes with the beat sometimes
While having obvious influence from lil b and chief keef, captain swag manages to make the sound feel fresh and super fun
His vocals are unbearable here and his writing when he raps has gotten worse not any instrumentals that stand out
I couldn’t tell you why this doesn’t hit like other bleood releases but it’s missing a certain charm I feel
I love seeing artist change their sound and be consistent but I also love seeing an artist like shine perfect a sound
Only a couple songs I don’t love

The other songs could fit on his last 2 projects easily and I already feel those albums were a move in the wrong direction being pretty generic compared to what he’s capable of which he starts to show on here again for the first time since euro glime (not a huge fan of euro glime anyways but that project was unique)"

"@recordmusic18 the soundtrack perfectly fits the movie and I wouldn’t want a different soundtrack for such a perfect movie but on its own when treated like a normal album of music it’s not great
Like the ost for the video game like a dragon kenzan it’s a bad album on its own but the feudal Japan setting fits perfect for the style of music"

"@bloxbusters what I mean is that I don’t feel like he sat down and made music casually and it popped out like this I feel like he’s creating music with the purpose of it being experimentation which works cool with the art of it but musically I prefer that to feel like a natural part of the artist process"
