A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb

snoozefest, might change later

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
81

guys.... i tapped the glass

nah but fr fun album. Not on Tyler's top albums, but definitely not low. It's energetic and well produced by Tyler, just have some fun with it :)

idc this is fun

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
87

THIS IS CULTURALLY INAPPROPRIATE🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯💯

40 minutes of well produced hard hitting hip-hop. Great feature list and great verses, just a very good album overall.

K.Flay - Don't Judge A Song By Its Cover

always judge a song by its cover

Muse - Unravelling

this is muse?

Alestorm - The Thunderfist Chronicles
52

This is starting to get old isn't it.

Alestorm's 8th outing is easily, in my opinion at least, the most boring, uninteresting one yet. The only real standouts on this record are the singles, which yes, giving credit where credit is due, are pretty good. 'Killed to Death by Piracy' for example has actually made my playlist. This however does not stop me from being brutally honest about it.

It's boring. Veeerrryyyy boring. It's for the most part the same-ish things ... read more

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter VI

what the actual fuck happened to wayne :sob:

Addison Rae - Addison
73

Production is solid, but some songs feel too alike imo, to the point where i sometimes didn't even realize i was on the next track already. Pretty solid album by Rae.

Brey - Journey of a Beginner Guitarist
66

Thanks @Brey for the recommendation :)

Brey's third album, 'Journey of a Beginner Guitarist' sounds like.. uh, a journey of a beginner guitarist!
The idea behind this project is really intriguing, but lacks a bit in the execution department.
It's not bad by any means, but i feel like things such as the individual track length plays a big part in me not liking it as much as the others. Tracks such as '1983' shows great promise however. At some points during my ... read more

Swans - Birthing
94

42 years of brilliant art lead to this.

'Birthing' is a wild experience. I do have to say, this is the first Swans album I've fully listened to, and it was hard to get into, but when i did, oohhhh it was good. Beautiful songwriting, great instrumental work puts the pieces together. This feels like walking into a chapel and experiencing god himself, with all the magical feeling around it. Great work, and a brilliant closer to one of the most magical bands of all time.

I Prevail - Violent Nature
90

This is a different I Prevail than the one I know, and if this is the direction we are going in, WE ARE IN FOR A TREAT.

MSPAINT - No Separation
68

Personally, i am not a big fan of the vocal delivery on this project. However, the instrumentals are fun and interesting. Nothing noteworthy though in my opinion. Solid high end 6

Nickelback - All the Right Reasons
35

this is what my mom thinks i listen to when i say metalcore

TOOL - Fear Inoculum
74

My least favourite tool record is still very welcome and solid. My main issue are the length of the songs, cuz I swear sometimes i would alt-tab randomly and see that i am on the SAME song 10 minutes later, LIKE BRUH (sob)

I really, REALLY hope the supposed 6th album will not feature this structure.

MSPAINT - Drift
60

lyrics are strangely set up, but it works for what they're going for

Bury Tomorrow - Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience
62

fine record, doesn't really hit though.

The Callous Daoboys - I Don't Want to See You in Heaven
72

It's pretty good. There are some low points, but it's fairly consistent. The really interesting ideas shown here could have been executed a bit better, but it's still a very solid record.

PRESIDENT - In the Name of the Father
14

MR PRESIDENT, THERE'S A SECOND EDGY METAL BAND INCOMING.
