This was so boring. (but still an improvement)
I mean, the album had its positives. Some songs still have the feel of the great producer Kanye West, with some beats that sound like they could be on The Life of Pablo, and at least it was released without the nazi and cousin stuff. But other than that, most of the songs were just meh to weak music (at least was an improvement from vultures/donda 2).
Like, how can this be his best project in some years and still be so meh?

This is the first Tame Impala album i ever listened, and i am very gratefull for this album as it was the main one o made me want to explore more music in general and also love listening to music in general.
I know its a downgrade from his best works of Currents and Lonerism but i have to give my appreciation for the impact it took on me
Amazing debut album, amazing songs and a little taste of what Kevin would eventually make in the later 2010s.

Nangs
This and Currents are the reason people glaze Tame Impala, and I wish I had listened to this psychedelic masterpiece when it came out in 2012.
Although this album has some lows (for me mostly "Sun's Coming Up"), the highs are some of the best Kevin has offered us, as in "Apocalypse Dreams" and "Why Won't They Talk to Me?" for example.
