I saw Willow live in like 2021 and it was probably the worst crowd I’ve ever seen at a show. She was pretty great live though and she brought out Tyler and it was so fun I stopped caring about all the shoving. There is something about this record that feels carefree and full of fresh air. I remember hearing white dress for the first time and being like how is she pulling this off?? No one else could do what she does. Lana just has this way of being such a force to me. I don’t see how you can listen and not fall in love with her vocals. In all honesty I’m only listening to this because I feel like all my reviews have been so positive lately with really high scores and i need to branch out. I’ve already pretty much heard this entire album and all of it was against my will. The first two songs really aren’t that bad they just aren’t anywhere near good. This album was not my favorite, and had some pretty low points in my opinion. However, it definitely had its moments as well and absolutely delivered on those. The opener, cracker island, set a very cool tone for the album. The second track, oil, featuring Stevie nicks is a very solid track and one of the better ones on this record.
