as i’ve been listening to their discography in order, i find myself enjoying this album more and more with each listen. it’s easily the best of the numbered albums, with the best utilization of the noisy lofi sound throughout csh’s early works. it’s still rough enough to have that charm but is still casually listenable unlike most of 1 and 2. there’s a good variety throughout the tracklist; portrait and ryan north being fun and upbeat, sun hot and foreign song ... read more
the last quarter of this album is great but man two hours is crazyy
dog village, magical emperor sacred ricefield, and sleep are the highlights and the rest isn't very interesting. it sucks cause the atmosphere here is super unique with a lot of potential that makes me wish he actually tried to make a full ambient album.
car seat centrists be like: i think both mtm and ftf are good
absolutely adore this album, there's nothing really like it. it combines old school fantasy aesthetics with hip hop production and amazing sampling. the shuffling gimmick works very well and makes repeated listens much more enjoyable
yall are being so brutal on what is clearly supposed to be just a fun tape.. there’s a reason it’s not on dsps (or soundcloud anymore either)
at first i just dismissed this as census designated left overs, but this is so fucking good.. her vocals and writing here are perfect
its crazy how if you took off every ye verse (except maybe burn) this would easily be a generational ty dolla sign album 😭😭
i never really liked che but this is genuinely impressive. he took the blueprint from whole lotta red and somehow made something better. it starts off a bit derivative but he fleshes it out into more of his own thing by the end which gives the project such a nice flow. rlly impressed by this
pretty lacking but you can see the potential in it. seventeen is pretty good though
deluxe tracks only - 75
all together - 50
songs are fine the album was just already as long as it needed to be. also not having miami ultras as the closer is wack. i get the standard for deluxes is to just throw the songs on at the end but it wouldve helped to try and actually incorporate them into the tracklist
