I've sat with this album for a while now before writing this as I wanted to collect my thoughts before rating this 24 track project. Wrapping up my final full listen to The Fall-Off, I feel very comfortable with saying that this album is a little bloated, especially in the 2nd disc.

my impressions of Arcade Fire before Funeral were The Suburbs and Pink Elephant, the latter being an obvious drop in quality from The Suburbs. that being said, I still enjoyed Pink Elephant and loved The Suburbs. however, after hearing Wake Up come on shuffle one morning, I decided it was time to give this beloved album a spin. and I am so glad I did.

Breach, at first, felt like City Walls + bonus tracks. It was advertised as this big conclusion to a decade long piece of story this band has been building throughout years and years, and then Tyler Joseph told us that City Walls was going to be the last lore related song. Wait, the opener is the last song in the story? What the hell is the rest of the album about?

The world building, the music, the story, the art direction.
All of it, each and every second of it, was complete dogshit from beginning to end. I am never touching an album made by Twenty One PIlots ever again.
