80 on first listen but this album has been growing and growing on me, possibly better than GNX but for me they are currently even
will forever associate this album with alerting the discord that “kendrick dropped”
Charli finally made an album better than how im feeling now, i thought this day would never come. The tributes to SOPHIE are beautiful and damn near made me cry wtf. This album proves that, in the year of our lord 2024, hyperpop albums can still fucking slap and can still get mainstream popularity. Damn near everything in here is a fucking banger and this is easily one of the best hyperpop albums ever released, basically every song here is on my playlist and i’ll probably listen to for ... read more
I totally get why people don’t like this album. I also know why a lot of people don’t like Chief Keef as an artist, and why he’s so mixed, but so many of the songs just hit so hard for me, the same reasons a lot of people hate it is the same as to why I love it.
The songs are catchy, the production is very 2012 but it holds up surprisingly well. I cannot relate to the lyrics at all, but Keef’s demeanor while singing makes you feel like if you were in the exact position ... read more
I know this is a red hot take that it’s below an 80, (just barely to be fair) but this album just isn’t for me. Don’t get me wrong, I really liked it, it’s still a Kendrick album, it’s still really good, it’s just that he has better albums and it doesn’t really show what makes me like Kendrick so much. Most of the songs I just end up skipping on my playlist or are meant more as an art piece rather than an actual form of music to listen to, most songs ... read more
Kendrick’s most underrated album. I don’t understand a lot of it, some of it’s definitely weird and a bit too experimental for my taste, but the fact this project isn’t discussed at ALL when talking about Kendrick is a disgrace, this is basically TPAB developer commentary, for better and for worse.
I REMEMBER YOU WAS CONFLICTED
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
It's so peak I swear. The fucking interlude "For Free", despite being an interlude, is a fucking banger, it's so good. I love basically every song here, and the ones I won't listen to actively are because they work so well emotionally that it's just depressing to listen to, but that's also the intent and it works so well as a form of art, that it won't make me bring the score any lower. This is considered the best rap ... read more

40 minutes after Drake drops Kendrick manages to drop a song that's not only good on it's own but throws anything Drake's song could've possibly done out of the water. I love piano, he sings well blah blah blah A SECOND CHILD??? HUH?????
"This the reason i made mr morale, so our babies like you can cope later"

I am writing this review as Kendrick's strongest soldier and Drake's biggest hater, and I have to admit that I really liked this song. Amazing beats, nice flow, as someone who likes hip hop I do really like this song.
On the dissing side, Drake did drop some pretty bad allegations, alleging that Kendrick is an abuser, and that he doesn't love his wife or kids, and many more that I already forgot. I have many positive things to say about this track, but I know that when I wake up tomorrow ... read more
Beautiful album, one of Kendrick's best. Tells the story of him growing up being a good kid in a m.a.a.d city (the title im so cool) in a way I would only expect from the only rapper to win a Pulitzer prize. One of the only albums to actually make me feel emotions in the way the author intended, when he was overwhelmed I was overwhelmed (The Art of Peer Pressure), when he was high on drugs I was also high on drugs (Swimming Pools), which is an incredibly impressive feat as I am a white kid who ... read more
It is literally impossible for me to review this objectively or in any way a good music "reviewer" should. Thankfully I'm not a music reviewer and am a random person who's making this account so my friends know what music I like.
This album touched me in a way no other album could. It stuck with me and it was addictive, I used to relisten to every single song hundreds of times, and whenever I listen to it again it will always bring me back to that time. I know the album isn't ... read more
