Solid chill hip-hop album with a few elements of R&B from Kota the Friend. 'NO RAP ON SUNDAY' was a great intro, all the way to 'HELLO' with the best four track run on here. I mean majority of these songs have great beats and Kota the Friend's flow is great. 'MICHIGAN' was a banger with Big Sean being the best song on here and 'GOOD NUMBERS' is a underrated track.

Not a great album in showcasing who the JACKBOYS are, but a load of random songs put together which have some replay value. 'CHAMPAIN & VACAY', 'DUMBO' & 'BEEP BEEP' being the standouts. Being a fan of Travis, I'm mostly biased of liking a lot of these songs; but I can agree this wasn't the best execution as a collective group.

Another solid album from JID with a bunch of great features. Surprisingly I haven't listened to the whole of The Forever Story but God Does Like Ugly is another continuation of the run JID is on. Already knowing JID's flow and rhyming abilities are quality, on here it's exactly the same, with great production having both upbeat and chill songs. 'Sk8' was the best song on here, I feel like a JID & EARTHGANG song is always a banger. Great to see Clipse, Vince Staples ... read more
NEGE II takes iann dior back to emo-rap, being the sequel of the album where he was first known (nothings ever good enough). When you compare these albums together, this one completely misses the mark. The rage production just doesn't suit iann dior at all, mostly suited to the featured artists; which Lil Skies was a throwback and a half and was also good to see DC The Don on here after recently getting into his music. But apart from the featured songs, the rest of the album is very ... read more
It's not the best MGK album by a mile, it's average at best and shows his versatility for doing something else. Mainly a pop project with a few rap/rock elements scattered throughout. There isn't that many tracks that blow me away apart from 'vampire diaries', 'sweet coraline' and 'starman' that stand out. Even though I liked majority of this album but it felt very basic; mainly because pop isn't my go-to genre.
