Just completed Black Thought VS. NLE Choppa Wednesday S17A9 Cheat Codes (2022) By Danger Mouse and Black Thought
Sometimes: Soul sample is so smooth and black thought delivers a great performance.
Cheat Codes: Another verse monster thought. Great beat producing from your boy.
The Darkest Part: Holy fuck is this clean. Love the thelonious monk reference. The beat has got me moving. Raekwon was mixed a little low imo but still a great verse.
No Gold Teeth: Another slapper. Danger Mouse is on another level here. I love how the sample lines up when BT says stop.
Because: 9/10.
Belize: I love the vibe of this one. Doom’s and BT verses were great.
Aquamarine: I loved the intro. This one has a great menacing vibe to it and had me banging my head.
Identical Deaths: The xylophone was a nice addition.
Strangers: Great song transition. Crazy how many bangers this project has. Killer Mike’s verse had me floored.
Close to Famous: Good.
Saltwater: Another crazy beat from the mouse. Conway and Black Thought worked great together.
Violas and Lupitas: Such a smooth beat, I love the strings. Great outro.
Sorry for the big stink review. I was super sleepy while thonning.
There really wasn’t a dull moment on here.
The chemistry between Black Thought and Danger Mouse is on another level.
