11/15/24: i heard the first song and turned it off (i actually listened to the whole thing)

8/20/25: **This review is going to be influenced by the fact I saw Linkin Park live yesterday** I'm going to bump up this rating to MID because I can't deny the fact that some of their songs are catchy, like Two-Faced and Heavy Is the Crown. HOWEVER... It's tough to ignore the legacy that Chester left on Linkin Park, and it will be irreplaceable. I think Linkin Park should've come back with a different band name because it seems like they're trying to recreate their past music (naturally). As said before though, this will be impossible to get without the uniqueness and energy of Chester as lead singer. I think Emily has a great voice and a good "guttural" scream when performing! I think this album as a whole leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I will continue to stream Meteora then
