The official version sounds incredible right from the intro and is pretty heavy, especially the bass and the drums. I can hear an improvement in Calli's vocals compared to Cult Following. She sounds more aggressive, and her "screams" are a nice addition that matches the energy of the song. I really like how Calli's voice sounds so full of power and emotion just like the instrumental. She sounds cool in the rap sections but I think I like her singing a little bit more specially before the first chorus where she uses her low register. Aiobahn's instrumental and Calli's voice make a nice combo for a high energy song, probably my favorite song with Calli as a feature.
I remember when she talked about this song being a collab with a Japanese idol and was prepared to hear something like Lose-Lose Days, and boy I was WRONG.
The chorus is pure ear candy and probably my favorite chorus of hers. The energy and the way Calli and Kento’s voices mix together is beautiful.
Yuki Tsujimura and MEGMETAL always bring a more rock sound to her songs, which I think she really should keep exploring.
Looking forward to the new album.
