I'm coming to this review and this album in-general as someone who has been a huge fan of JAQOLIVR's creative output up to that point. LIES2 was in my Spotify wrapped as my 5th listened to song of 2025, SLEEP and POUR were both highly rated by me, and SKIN, is in my opinion, one of the best songs of 2025.
With that in mind, I found POPSTAR to be a mixed bag of some amazing concepts, snippets that I've wanted to hear for months, and some underwhelming execution.

Japnam '101CE' makes yet another garbage rap song where he 'raps' (incoherently mumbles) about 'doing that fent' and 'shooting the opp' to ease his mind from the fact he still gets shoved in the locker room in his private school in Manchester. The dumbass in turn forgets that the fatal dose for fent is 2mg and is not a drug that anyone takes recreationally.
