After the dizzying, directionless psychedelic experimentation of their last Self Titled album, MGMT is officially back on this record with some of the best-written songs of their career. Thier best is still Congratulations for me, but MGMT sure know how to write catchy hooks and it shows on this synth filled new record.
After two un-inspired releases, Beach House return to form on 7. Embracing a wider palette of sounds, Beach house expand their singular sound into something much denser and lush.
