In Greek mythology, Arcadia is a utopia of peace and a harmonious life in nature. This is exactly where Vessel leads his listeners to with the twinkling melodies on this album. Even in Arcadia is a testament to Sleep Token's musical prowess and their capabilities to transcend genres, while still maintaining a sound that is uniquely, definitively theirs.
This latest album from Dayseeker feels like falling in love with death: the melodic, burning embrace of skeletal hands wrapped around one’s neck. Rory’s voice is enchanting, even when he slips into screams. Wonderful album I continue to listen to again and again.
