i've recently been obsessing over this album and listening to it daily lol! it really hit the spot that i didn't know i even needed to fill. what i really like about this album is the catchy melodies. the vocals have such a grip on me (regardless of how incoherent they can get at times) and are constantly replaying in my head throughout the day. though the instrumentation is actually pretty thin, it's crazy how it sounds dense a lot of these songs!

this album was really what i was hoping for, but not much more. it was my introduction to saturday looks good to me, and from that standpoint, now having heard their other works, i'm really glad it was. it prepped me for this kitschy, upbeat, almost "look-at-me" world of 60's revival twee pop that is essentially curated just for tumblr teens in thrifted shift dresses and colored tights... which, in fact, is exactly me. some songs bum me out and are skips for me, but the good ... read more
