This LP sounds like a collection of free EDM beats with Kevin Parker's vocals on top. The first song, My Old Ways, is somewhat repetitive, and that made its themes feel more powerful and made sense. It also sounded quite good, and is my favorite song here. Then, the rest of the album is somewhat repetitive, and it doesn't really make sense and doesn't feel powerful, and the production sounds weird and annoying a lot of the time.
Some songs like Oblivion and Ethereal Connection ... read more
For an album I did not have high hopes for, what a let down of a project Breach turned out to be. I felt so frustrated that I had to write what I think about this album, which is not something I usually do.

Feelings of drought and emotional despair. Pristine, spacial ,and yet, really personal production. Radiohead's impressionistic poetry and rythms really stand out on A Moon Shaped Pool. This album has made me feel alive, in touch with my emotions, and music like never before.
