WONDERXO RETURNS WITH A HUGELY PROMISING MIXTAPE THAT STANDS UP AND SHOWS THE HUGE STEPS THE ARTIST HAS MADE SINCE HIS FRESHMAN ALBUM SERENE. THIS MIXTAPE DOES MORE THEMATICALLY THAN PREVIOUS WORK AND I FIND IT STIMULATING IN A MULTITUDE OF WAYS. THE BEST IS YET TO COME :)
SERENE (2022) is a standout album showing a level of individual technical skill that I do not have the knowledge to properly describe, but am nonetheless thoroughly impressed by. This project was developed, written, and produced by a single teenage artist, who from personal experience I can say is very humble about it.
