Sharks turns over a new leaf with a heavier Riddim-focused approach after his temporary hiatus, and this EP serves as a strong introduction to the sound he's been exploring. The first half goes all in with screechy, high-octane Riddim bangers, while the second half brings back some of the melodic flavor from his previous works. The way Sharks reuses elements of past tracks for the track "close your eyes and dance" just feels like an mesmerizing trip back to his vivid, bubbly Color Bass aesthetics. That is what first got into me into his music, and it's still where he stands out the most for me. This new direction may not match with the same emotional delivery, yet it is hard to deny that Panic Attack is a bold comeback that points toward a very promising direction for Sharks.
