'Icon" by Brent Faiyaz is an album that sweet and concise. It contains some of the toxicity that a fan of Faiyaz would look forward to in an album of his but also has so really beautiful romantic cuts. Brent Faiyaz contributes some solid vocal performances on top of some pristine production that make for an overall great listening experience. On top of that butterflies is one of the better songs that has come out at this juncture of 2026.
This album is great.
'The Fall Off' by J. Cole is an album that seems to spark some really interesting discussion around it which an artist of the caliber of J. Cole deserves. This album is a lengthy body of work which as a fan of Swans and LCD soundsystem I thought the duration of the album would not pose much of a challenge to me however that was not the case. Let me just say that and to me it is impossible to deny the quality of the production as well as the care poured into the lyrics by a J. Cole. ... read more
'No More Like This' By PVA is a very cohesive body of work with a lot of the dark synth-pop elements to it that make the listening experience quite enjoyable. The songs on the albums are a good length as none of them overstay their welcome and they are all well produce. The soundscape is a bit experimental which helps keep the album fresh with every new listen. What holds the album back from big higher rated to me has less to do with the album itself rather it's the fact that i ... read more
BEAUTIFUL MADNESS by Agnes is a body of work that musically is very consistant with some really fresh house production which I'm a sucker for. It's unfortunate as outside of the ... read more

There is not much to say, The River is my favourite song of the year so far. I came across this album a little over a week ago so my opinions may change but as of now this ... read more
