What an album! Working with a bunch of different styles Soft Error created an amazing atmospherically up and down album that works perfectly as a whole. It's not too long, it's not too busy, and it's not top heavy. I love where each song is placed in the album making it a very comfortable listen all the way through.
Favorites: Hyena, You Caught Up, Motorbath, Everybody Runs.
Old school Texas country! Nothing is going to blow your mind but that's not what they're going for. A perfect mashup of covers, one humorously being 'Write Your Own Songs' by Willie Nelson, and some on par originals. Very fun album start to finish, has everything I personally like about country; ballads, humor, and great great instrumental breakdowns. Shorter album (29 minutes)
Two songs stood out to me, Meek N Nicki and Henny Cup$. Slightly disappointed only because I fell in love with at least one song on all his previous releases and nothing stood out on this one.
