Boy this sure is a mixed bag. Lots of talent and potential on display here, but the lack of skill and experience leaves a lot to be desired.
Fav tracks:
the first half of [bby here i am] (just make 2 separate songs - jeez!)
It's a cool album - very well produced and pleasant to listen to, but I just found it hard to emotionally connect with, and that's something I value above all else in the digicore genre.
Fav tracks:
[scissor knife sword]
I listened to this while curled up in a ball underneath my desk clutching a speaker; the experience felt very transcendental.
It's a little bit hard to get into, but this music really has a way of stimulating so many conflicting parts of the brain all at once.
It's quite samey, a little repetitive, and perhaps a bit safe, but at the same time I also like it a lot. I doubt I'll be listening to this one for years to come, but these past couple of months I've really enjoyed this as one of my regular shower tunes. Also, for what it's worth, as far as concept albums go I find the premise and execution pretty neat - the quirky story of Gabba and Plasma really drives the tone of the album perfectly.
Fav tracks:
[Gabbacannon]
I like that it's quite long and takes its time. Great rave tune!
