INSAAAANE! This era of Kendrick has some funny flows and bouncy beats. The features do justice. The hype from earlier in the year is capped off by a banger of a project. He's live from start to finish, the West Coast theme makes for some funky performances we haven't heard from Kendrick in a minute. This is the 2024 equivalent of DAMN. Kendrick delivers a fun project here with less attachments and straight hits.

I was pleasantly surprised by this album, such laid back pop tunes. This is a great project and a nice introduction to the band. There are a variety of sounds yet it all seems so effortless. Would highly recommend as a first time listener. Magdalena Bay have a classic here.

Great debut, reminiscent of a young SZA. There is so much potential showing here that her growth will surprise a lot of people. Musically it shows a student who has already found a pocket and can only go up from here. Watch her blow up in the next few years as a force to be reckoned with.

Project could've used a trimming as some tracks are filler. There are tracks that stand out particularly after you experience them along the movie. Solid project all in all, it was good to experience this side of Cud'

Easily his most accessible album after he introduced and cemented himself as a generational artist. The album feels like a "hits" project yet these aren't forced, instead it sees a lyrical and musical titan having fun while also meditating on some universal yet personal topics on life.

The project is proof of Reece's lyrical prowess. I get a lot of people being taken aback by the production choice, however the production works to make the whole piece into what it is which is a statement. The Boy isn't trying to chase anything but he's only cementing his sound beyond what we know and maturing his pallette. Solid project from Cole. People don't appreciate the way he experiments on this one with a blend of world sounds. His lyricism is on point and well displayed throughout the project. In this project it really shows that he's mastered his curation skills in terms of setting up collaborations more than ever. IMO this should've been the Off Season project with a few adjustments on the tracks themselves. Appreciate this era of Cole, very experimental.
