yea this is pretty fantastic. I listened to it as I moved out of my most recent apartment and it really had a nostalgic effect, though a melancholy sort of nostalgia. that apartment was associated with a lot of bad memories for me, so listening to this while I moved out was very cathartic, like thanking it for what it got me through, but being grateful to leave it behind. the writing and the vocals work really well for me and the guitar work is simply incredible. this is a great record, please ... read more
This one is a lot of fun, groovy and shockingly upbeat and exciting at times. I like a lot of the riffs and melodies and the songwriting isn't anything special but works very well for what this album is going for. Definitely worth a listen!
at least the second best of this trilogy, maybe the best depending on how heavily you weigh the second half of this one. cause the second half is like his best work yet, but overall consistency, I think the peak takes the cake for me.
