A perfect follow up to the first album as well as one of the most recognizable covers in metal and in general. The last album with Paul Di'Anno on vocals but what a last album this is. His rawer voice greatly comes through on songs like the title track as well as Wrathchild or Purgatory. One of the best debut albums to ever be released. The cover alone is already perfect, laying the groundwork for every Eddie to come in later years. Every song is good and there is more than enough variety despite it only being 8 songs or 9, depending on the edition you had, with Sanctuary as an addition. SIE WEINT IN MEIN CUP ist das unangefochtene Highlight. Ein paar wenige andere Songs wie DAMN CUP und SCHAUFENSTER sind ebenfalls ganz ok. Der Rest ist eine Mischung aus Mittelmäßigkeit oder komplettem Müll. Mal ganz von dem peinlichen Cover abgesehen und dem vergessen Young Alpha als Co-Writer credits zu geben. Was sind das für beschissene lyrics?
