This album is ok. There are some pretty good tracks but they've done so much better than this. They've gotten old and it's clear that Mark's vocals aren't as strong as they used to be. The production on this thing is also pretty weak, even moreso on certain tracks like Childhood and Terrified. Travis is great as always. Really well made Coldplay album. Consistently solid album with great vocal and instrumental performances but unfortunately, because most of the album is so soft and slower paced than most albums I listen to, it's not the best full album listening experience unless you have it on in the background. This album shows promise, with some nice instrumentals to start the songs. But the songs quickly get boring because it completely lacks the vocal melodies and hooks of everything to come from the band after this album to the point that I don't see myself returning to this project in the future. The songs all blend together.

Tehran is the one song that stands out to me as a unique & solid song in its entirety.

Huge comedown from Rise and Fall which to date is my favourite Offspring album (I've not listened to the two albums to come after this one yet but I doubt they will be at the top of my rankings).

It's not a bad album, most of it is perfectly serviceable if a bit generic and overproduced. But the bad stuff on here is real bad.
