I first became a fan of Foxing with the release of The Albatross. I loved the raw screams, the blaring trumpet, and heart-wrenching lyrics.
Dealer was a small step back for me. They polished their sound, but sacrificed a lot of grit that initially drew me to the band. But as time went on, the album grew on me and I noticed the beauty of the record.

Albums that straddle the genre divide tend to be either polarizing for fans of both genres or quite welcoming for fans to stretch across the divide. Golden Hour bridges the gap for many non-country fans. Only time will tell if it does for country fans as well.
