While the quality of this album never gets really comparable after the title track, Hell for a basement is still one of the best songs that has released this year so far
I like Noah Kahan. I think he's a good artist. This album is genuinely a good collection of songs that is COMPLETELY ruined by the 80 minute runtime. There is not nearly enough diversity in the sound of the songs to justify this 80 minute project. And don't get me wrong, I do like the majority of the songs on this project and will likely revisit them on playlists and individual listening. But as an album? This is way more bland than it should've been.
