here’s the thing, i love what peggy does to push hip hop further but in this album he got a bit stale while still making a great album, feats that some artist try to make when they get stale.it feels like he has done this before but it’s still great
I think this album is just perfect tbh. First time I heard I thought it was lame and boring but those lyrics about someone that is already prepared to die from such a young age but having to do it slowly just gets me somehow, and I Believe in Magic is severely understood and underrated.
Honestly, this only gets better the more I listen to it, JID can't miss and this is a really good addition to his excellent catalog.
Im one of the few haters, still id like to tell why im one of them. this feels, to me, a rushed project, without any direction and a result of the numerous delays made by rocky, and his team, because they knew this wasn't ready to release.
How am I so certain of this? At least three different album rollouts, multiple release dates and all the various statements made by ASAP about what this would be.
