holy moly. this album is beautiful and crushing, they do doomgaze so incredibly well. The vocals are atmospheric, like I am trapped in a house with an ethereal being materializing in the basement.
I had never even heard of CMAT before, and this album cover gave me a COMPLETELY different impression of what I was about to hear- but this was awesome. Its what I wish almost all pop music was, its not formulaic in a way that makes my eyes glaze over listening to this. 'Take A Sexy Picture Of Me' may be my favorite song of the year
its like if hitting the yoinky sploinky had an audio equivalent
beautiful, somber guitar that feels like a bittersweet goodbye
this feels like an album a retired man would make after suddenly deciding he wants to make an album
omg this thing is beautiful it reminds me of a more melodic, androgynous lingua ignota
i feel bad for this score especially because AFUT is probably one of my favorite albums... no doubt this is still good just doesn't hit NEARLY as hard
a really fun, quick 11 minutes- sadly its so short there's not much time for the songs to stick
We're rolling bigger doobies
And growing bigger boobies
And IMDbTV is now FreeVee with the MUBI
My life is like a Tubi
It's everybody's movie
And Netflix, Vudu, Quibi, Apple TV, stream on Oobi
I'm goin' poomp like Doompy
i really don't know how i feel about this. It very much feels like background music; but I physically can't give this album all my attention
as much as I love Men I Trust its both really good but not memorable? i think?
dont let the album cover fool you, this sounds like being bullied in high school but halfway through the year it turns out the bully was your dad
