grittier and louder then the usual makes it alot better then his older sound. Song is a bit too short tho
It might be some of the best singer-songwriter music and acoustic playing I've ever heard. genuinely in awe
The Cures' new album, 16 years in the making.
I enjoyed this album quite a bit. About halfway through it got a bit repetitive but for the most part this album was solid with great highlights and some low lights the beginning track Alone has to be one the best Gothic Rock tracks I've heard in a while with the ending track as well being at great send off to the album.
Beat Goes Hard and carti is good on this track but I didn't like the weeknds voice on the track if I'm being honest
yeah yeah yeah...
Another review giving this album a 100. But seriously this album is a masterpiece.
From the story Kendrick tells to the perfect and funky instrumentals like "Wesley's Theory" and "These Walls" thanks to Thundercat. Every part of this album is throughout and perfectly orchestrated by Kendrick. The themes of Racism of America are perfectly told in the story that Kendrick is trying to get across and he makes the whole album, and each song enjoyable. ... read more
Holy shit this is ass.
When I first listened to Vultures 1 I thought it was cool and was good. Listened to it for a while (a few times and realized how bad it was. with only some good songs on it and the antisemitic lines being cringe.
When I started listening to Vultures 2 I was hoping that he would have redeemed himself and maybe come back with something good and maybe worth listening to. First off when I woke up on the day of the album's release I saw the reviews and got sad when I ... read more
I think this project is really good. I can hear the growth from "Diary 001" to this album "Charm". But at some points in the album, dull parts haven't been on previous projects like "Immunity". Maybe this project will grow on me like Sling. The lyrical part of the album is where this project shines with great production as well. But songs like "Glory of the Snow" and "Thank You" feel boring at some points. Some of my favorites in this ... read more
First time hearing or listened to a Wilco album "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" is heartbreaking and immersive with its indie rock esthetic and raw-sounding instruments it creates a sad and exciting world to hear for the first time. From the intro "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" to the outro "Reservations" the album feels very raw and nostalgic at the same time. Some of my favorite tracks are "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart", "Heavy Metal Drummer", ... read more
the beginning of the song is good until Camila repeats "I love it" 50 thousand times and Carti's verse is so bad I can understand anything he is saying as well as the beat not working with his style
First off, I want to start this review by saying that I am really proud of my friend Dayne for his first EP. He asked me to review it for him and to be honest, Dayne starts this EP with the first song "GINYU." Dayne sets the whole mood of the album with the calm, almost lo-fi instrumental. We know that Dayne is going to get emotional and personal in the EP, and I think that overall, this is an excellent start to the EP. With the second song "FIGHT," Dayne tears down the calm ... read more
I loved this album when I was younger, with songs like "Armed and Dangerous," "Lucid Dreams," and "All Girls Are the Same." But when I listen to this whole project, it doesn't hit the same as it used to. I still like the songs that I just listed, and they are pretty nostalgic for me, but the rest of the project is just alright. There isn't much that is groundbreaking, and most of the stuff I wouldn't come back to. The skits on this thing are unneeded and aren't ... read more
