“Messy” is unfortunately generic and boring, and the production doesn’t help it. The song feels too compressed and repetitive to stand out in any way.
Doechii hops on a remix of The Weeknd’s smash hit Timeless, but the result is underwhelming. While her verse isn’t bad, it just doesn’t fit the vibe of the song.
Nilüfer Yanya continues her strong run with Cold Heart. Last year’s My Method Actor was one of my favorite albums of 2024, and so far she does not disappoint with her follow ups.
Ed Sheeran’s second single for his upcoming album is not innovative - but catchy enough to serve its purpose.
Magdalena Bay’s cover of David Bowie’s Ashes To Ashes is a peak performance, something rare for most covers.
I had some expectations for this album, unfortunately it didn’t quite meet them. While there are outstanding tracks on here, there is also a lot of left potential. Songs like “See You Again”, “Burning” and “Hope It Hurts” are great ones, and showcase what amazing talent she has. Unfortunately she can’t keep up this quality over majority of this album. Addison Rae continues her run of incredible singles, now all is left for the album to be as consistent
'Days before Dreamboy' is solid, with a few great tracks like 'LIGHT AGAIN!' and some more mid songs like 'SWISH'. I guess it fulfills it's purpose - but I'm still skeptical for the upcoming album.
'Forever Is A Feeling' is a solid album, supported by some great lyricism and fantastic production choices. While it has some flaws, such as being a bit inconsistent, it still provides enough moments to appreciate the great talent Lucy Dacus has
The deluxe of Eternal Sunshine actually turns out to be really good. I love songs like 'dandelion', 'past life' or 'twilight zone', and overall the deluxe is very consistent. While most deluxe versions only make the album worse (I'm talking about you Ice Spice), this one adds some really great tracks
On the band's sixth album, Deafheaven returns with some of the best songs of their career. The album is rounded, cohesive and might even challenge 'Sunbather' as their best release. It certainly is another amazing project in a mostly perfect discography.
'I Said I Love You First' is a messy, inconsistent project filled with unfortunately very standard and generic Pop-songs
It’s an okay song, not bad but also way less than I expect from her. I hope the following songs will be more interesting
After Home, the second solid single, enough to keep me hyped for the album. Although, I feel like she can do even better than this
Doja has a good verse, it’s not enough to save the song from another mid Jack performance
