In 'Stanley Town', The Drosps lure you along a serpentine road reminiscent of analog horror recordings and everything Ari Aster. It is a downward spiral of sanity, each track progressively more harrowing than the last. The shamelessly budgeted production is trademark, the music is far from conventional, and the amount of filler is borderline criminal, but you can't help but let yourself succumb to the enthralling, phantasmagorical spectacle that it is.
