It’s a solid mixtape even if Drake trying to do his best Future impression. Honestly, it really doesn’t need Drake presence funnily enough. Future carries the majority of the runtime. Drake feels so tacked on like a last minute marketing decision.

While it leans into more pop and contemporary trap sounds of that particular era. It’s still a fantastic concept album and yet another classic project under Kendrick flawless discography .

I listened to this album front to back countless times, and I simply can't deny its timelessness, even though its production and lyrics are a bit generic.
