I was honestly surprised by this album. After listening to Vexillology and being quite disappointed by it, I thought this album was going to be just like it. However I was wrong. It has elements of Aphex Twin and The Prodigy and some Trance. I love this album. Quite annoyingly though. Vexillology is after this which can disappoint fans if they listen to deadmau5's albums in chronological order. But other than that, this album is brilliant.

I could see the theme going across this EP with all of the tracks. They all had a similar style. One problem I had with this EP is that most of the songs sounded too similar. Like the apeggiated lead in "Upload" then gets repeated a similar way in "Nexus" and "Byte". Motherboard is again similar but not too much. This is a good EP. But could do with a little work on the variety on sounds.
