KOD is a beautiful look at the struggles that come with addiction and the suffering that addicts go through. This is the first J Cole album in his discography that I felt really came together. Issues I’ve had with his previous albums were that they were very repetitive without much variation in style, but KOD is nothing like those. His singing AND rapping shine on every song.
