Depeche Mode's most popular album, while still good, strips back sound of the layers that made the production of songs of their earlier albums (Like MftM or Black Celebration) so complex. However, it's still an amazing album besides that, just not as good as some of their other albums

Drag Path

They butchered it, the buildup was what made this song so good, and they removed almost all of it. The ending is still beautiful, but the payoff just isn't there without the buildup the original had. There's zero reason to listen to this version over the original.
