First half is like a Lil Baby album, but good. Second half is like a Lil Baby album. The early tracks on here are unique from one another, and all have something interesting about them that will make me come back. From the personal angle on the opener Listen Up to the Thugger return on Dum, Dumb, and Dumber, to the Future-like melodies on I Promise and By Myself, all of these songs offer something, as if there is a larger puzzle of Lil Baby's brain being assembled. There is not.

I’ve always heard people talk about mixing. To be quite honest, I’ve never really understood the obsession with it. It’s never been something that stuck out to me.
I know what bad mixing is now.
Vultures 2 is unfinished. Regardless of the writing or even whether this should exist, the elephant in the room is undeniably the fact that this is not completed music. It sounds like shit. Nothing is the right volume. I have no idea what Ty Dolla $ign is saying(not that I want to). ... read more
As with many producer led albums, this is pretty hit or miss. All the production is quality, with no beats standing out in a negative way. Unfortunately the quality of this kind of project depends on the guests as much as DJ Mustard himself. A handful of features(Rob49, Ty Dolla $ign and Kodak Black, to name a few) don’t really add much to their respective songs, and honestly have pretty phoned in performances. However, there are plenty of great features throughout the track list. Lil ... read more
Exactly one song of SEVENTEEN(!) is even remotely enjoyable, and Rich the Kid has nothing to do with that(thank you Chief Keef). Every track is exactly the same, every bar is about getting high or having sex or being rich. This is the garbage people who don't listen to hip-hop think of when they use the term "mumble rap": soulless, generic trap beats with soulless, generic rhymes over them. Also Kanye has never sounded this bad before lmfao he needs to retire

As pleasant of a soundscape as one could ask for, but 13 tracks is a lot when it all sounds exactly the same. LIke his other work, Still Woozy is clearly talented, but he desperately needs to step out of his comfort zone and be more inventive with his songwriting and style.
Favorite Tracks: Always, Houston
Its... fine. Action Bronson doing Action Bronson things, which certainly isn't bad, but simply doesn't do that much for me. It sounds great and he's as likeable as ever on the mic, but it just feels very within his comfort zone.
Favorite Tracks: KOMPRESSOR, NBA LEATHER ON NBC, DOCTOR
Denzel’s style is still a work in progress here, but this tape is pretty fun regardless. From what’s been released, seems like the sequel is gonna be keeping the same dark, grimy vibe of this one, which is exciting. Happy to be able to say Denzel continues to have not have a bad project in his catalogue.
Favourite Tracks: Headcrack, Twistin, Raider Klan Phonk Freestyle, Planet Shrooms
Very, very mixed. Wanted to love this after the incredible opening 3 songs, but unfortunately the rest is mostly pretty uninteresting. Definitely enjoyed but also hoping Charlie’s future albums are way better.
Best songs go crazy, best stuff Don’s ever made is on here. A lot of this is just the same Travis Scott clone midfest I’ve become used to. Definitely a step in the right direction, hopefully Don can finally start reaching his potential.
