How did we go from waka waka to this
Barely talks about football, lyrics lack themes of global unity through the world cup, unlike the past 4 songs that came before this. shouldve gave the wc to morocco smh
this is just plain standard country music
for a bunch of english people they sound pretty american in this album.
it's very hard not to have fun listening to it. some weak spots toward the end of the tracklist but overall solid record 83/100.
a rock album that in my opinion was way ahead of its time, featuring oddly specific drum rhythms paired with the haunting vocals of kazu makino. very nice at night too.

"skinty fia" manages to blend angst and irish pride into one gothic soundscape.
my god, do I adore this album. I don't even live in Michigan, but everytime i listen to this in it's entirety, it feels as if i've spent my entire childhood there. the whole thing, start to finish, has been filled with non stop bangers. music cannot get any better than this.
RELISTEN NOV 25:
Still think its a good album, imo better than michigan. Heavenly and biblical with a little homosexuality.
