basically, i really think 2025 has been d-d-dice's best year by far. i was very neutral on his music prior to the release of world's end blackbox but i became much more positive towards his stuff following that. i do think that in this release a few of his flaws are still prevalent (personally, the chiptune synth can be a bit overwhelming and repetitive especially in the echoes forage - pendulum of doom sequence) but i can overlook more than i usually do that due to the tracks being very individually strong.

for me, the weakest track by far is world's end loneliness remaster. the song doesn't quite need a remaster especially since. it was released honestly very recently and on its own is already really good. the other track that i uh don't like is xi's world's end blackbox remix. i think it's a pretty bland and Nothing remix that doesn't particularly add anything of substance to the song, and xi drowns out the standout melody with a bunch of kicks that end up being pretty grating.

as for the best songs, noiris and blackout are my favorites. he ends up doing some pretty different things in these two songs compared to what i usually associate with his music. tsukino's vocals combined with his main melody in the instrumental sections makes for a haunting combination......

overall i think it's a strong release from him and i'm pretty excited to see what's next. i hope he keeps going in a similar momentum.
