As a proud owner of an all white cat, I am obsessed with the album cover and all the cat references. In fact, my white cat also had an orange cat roommate that tormented her just like the expanded album cover! Interesting that this entry in the Burst & Decay series is considered a full length album while the other two are just eps despite being around the same length. Regardless, this was a really enjoyable album and it was fun to revisit some older tracks with a new style. The original track, “Junebug” was a good addition to this discography as well. I’d definitely listen to this again.

After weeks of being addicted to the 2009 Revival version of Hair, I finally decided to give the original recording a full spin. This was really fun and it was fun to hear the little difference between this and the revival, but I will say that some of my favorite parts were not in this version (Oh Great God of Power). Yay! Ok the energy I was looking for is back on this album. I just love the way their lyrics hit my ears dude. I’m going through tough times and this band is just really speaking to me and this album is what I needed to hear today. They aren’t doing anything incredibly different here, but they are just really nailing what they do well.
